Word for the Week ~ 2/15/2021
I was surprised to see such a good group of people show up Sunday morning in the midst of such a snowstorm and near zero temperatures. The music Sunday was wonderfully chosen to fit the theme of the service as we talked about overcoming social stigmas in ministering to people. The subject of “love” is clearly the basis for reaching people, and it fit well for a Valentine’s Day theme in Sunday’s service. The special gift from the Men’s Ministry to the ladies Sunday was a big hit! It was good to see children in worship yesterday as well. They love those Busy Bags! (See below). This coming Sunday we will be moving into chapter six of Luke’s gospel. Be sure to check out the sermon outline that we will email out on Friday at 2:00 p.m.
