Word for the Week ~ 6/3/2019
Sunday was a great day! We had great music, good attendance, a good message on tithing and sacrificial giving from Hebrews 7:1-10, the baptism of three young people, and four people joining the church (Naomi Spencer, Terry and Susan Hayden, and Katie Shrive). The day didn’t end there because we had over a dozen people come to our Community Outreach meeting at 3:00 p.m., and then about seventy-five people attend our Adult/Youth Cookout and Pickle Ball Game at 6:00 p.m.
Men’s Ministry Work Week: Our Men’s Ministry will be busy this week doing odd jobs and services for our seniors and others who need help. We have had a good response from our church. They will be cleaning out gutters, doing yard clean-up, making small repairs, and assisting with hauling off junk. It is not too late to call the church office and see if they can still schedule you in.
Men’s BBQ: This Friday night at 6:00 p.m., our men will be meeting in the Family Life Center to enjoy a great meal and fellowship together to celebrate the end of a big week of service. All men are invited.

Summer Youth Schedule: Back by popular demand, the youth will be enjoying Word on the Water on Wednesday nights over the summer months at the home of Dave and Margaret Kesinger. They will leave the church on Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m. and return at 8:00 p.m. They will also continue to meet every Sunday night over the summer at 6:00 p.m. for Youth Sunday in The Park. There will be no Memory Monday for the rest of the summer. We will resume our normal schedule in August when school starts back up.
