Word for the Week ~ 8/12/2019

Sunday:  The services were wonderful yesterday for the well over 400 people who came to worship.  I cannot say enough about how great the music was.  Wow!  There was a beautiful spirit in our services yesterday, and what a thrill it was to see all of our children in the beginning of the second service who were graduating into new classes.  We appreciate so much all of our Children’s Workers.  By the way, we had a good group attend Community Outreach last night.  Please note that we will begin meeting at 3:30 p.m. on Sundays beginning next week in The Park.

Speaking of our younger students, they will be starting back to school this Thursday on August 15th and our college students at UCM will be starting back next Monday on August 19th.  Memory Monday will be kicking off next Monday, August 19th, and our young people will be having their various back to school parties:  The Youth will be having their Back To School Bash on Friday night, August 23rd, at 5:00 p.m. in The Park.  Also, Grover Kids will be having their Back To School Bash on Saturday, August 24th from 1:00–3:00 p.m. in The Park.
