Word for the Week ~ 8/5/2019
Sunday was a wonderful day for the 406 worshipers who joined us. It was good to see a number of visitors and to have Betty Jo Black come forward in the first service to join the church. The music just keeps getting better as we move into the final stretch of our series through the Book of Hebrews. As we came to appreciate Sunday the principle of how God sometimes chastens His children, next Sunday we will be picking back up at Hebrews 12:12 with the words, “Therefore strengthen your hands that hang down and your knees that are feeble, and make straight the paths of your feet…and be healed.” Wow!
Special Praise Night: As I shared last week, mark your calendar for Sunday, August 18th, at 6:00 p.m. to join the fun, fellowship, and worship as we sing and listen to our favorite hymns and worship songs in the Worship Center. Special selections from Worship Team Members and Primetime singers will be included. The service will be followed by a homemade ice cream social in the Family Life Center. Bring your favorite ice cream and join the fun.
